Getting Started at the BartSucks Forums

We created this forum because we genuinely believe that BART patrons like ourselves don't have a place be heard about the issues that concern us.
Many of the issues that DO concern us are contained in these forums.
Furthermore, we created this board in the midst of labor unrest in the worst recession since the great depression and having all witnessed BART Police recent careless disregard for human life. Frankly, we have watched many make tremendous sacrifice while revenues for government and quasi-government agencies have imploded. We are asked to pay higher fares and to expect to get substantially less service for those higher fares. Many of us have given back with pay cuts and job losses. The Yen Interactive Media Group doesn't wish to take sides in these labor relations. However our management and employees have universally strong opinions about these issues and that's ALSO one of the reasons we created this board. So BART Management, employees and OTHER BART PATRONS could see and share those opinions.
This is not the place for PERSONAL ATTACKS OR THREATS. We track your IP. We don't use that information unless you're stupid and post something illegal.
Now with that being said... anyones salary, work rules, benefits, expenses, expense accounts, incompetence and secretary boning is fair game. Attacking them with slurs, cuss words and epithets in these forums just gets you timed out - and if you can't control yourself, we're going to have to ban you so that we might be able to achieve our objectives. Our ultimate objective is to un-suck BART and get it back on the right track: CLEAN, RELIABLE, FAST AND SAFE and CONVENIENT.
Unfortunately as we see things... that will require quite a bit of housecleaning, literally and figuratively.
Nonetheless, if you have an opinion, idea or a suggestion, we want to hear about it.
Check back from time to time as we intend to adjust these rules as required.
